OUR MISSION

Volta Revival is a grassroots non-profit which empowers our partners to establish Stronger, healthier, and more educated communities along the Volta river in Ghana with the aim of ending child trafficking and forced labor.

OUR STORY

THE VOLTA REVIAL FOUNDATION WAS CREATED BY LOVE

LOVE OF THE PEOPLE.

LOVE OF MAMA AFRICA.

LOVE OF JUSTICE AND KINDESS.

AND LOVE OF EACH OTHER.

Volta Revival Foundation (VRF) was manifested by the imaginations of two dreamers: Monique Vanden’Aklie and Mershack Aklie who met in Ada Foah Ghana in the summer of 2016 and together established Volta Revival based on the philosophy of holistic community based programming and with the aim of ending child trafficking and forced labor slavery in Ghana.

We do this by providing support and collaboration through the opportunities embedded in our programs. We believe an essential ingredient in sustaining positive behavior change is education and training. We understand that child trafficking and slavery are symptoms of deeper rooted issues, and Volta Revival along with our amazing partners is committed to addressing the systemic barriers to change.

OUR METHOD
